EM trained docs cannot be board certified as of yet in CCM. not that it matters too much in this current climate of CCM doc shortage.

Actually, I thought you could. You would have to sit for the European CCM boards and then transfer over to the United States with your European certification. Such a pain, it's almost not worth doing.
