hey, so what are you guys doing for health insurance? I have the option of staying on my parents insurance through cobra, which costs 450 a month, but is a great plan, low-copays, little hassel with coverage issues or getting on my school's health insurance which costs 250 a month, but has more out of pocket costs and appeals requirements for certain dosages of meds etc.
I'm unsure of what i should do. i have some chronic health issues, so this is a big deal for me. Anybody know anything about insurance agents? do they charge consultation fees..how do people usually purchase insurance? There are so many things to consider, it seems hard to compare until you're actually on the plan and confronted with issues or claims that need to be processed.
