Hey guys,

Do you know of any programs that allow you to receive a DO degree along with a Master's in Health Policy and Management? I am torn between the two careers (Policy Analyst and Physician) and am considering doing both. I know there are several great MD programs that allow you to pursue both, but I am also interested in osteopathic medicine. Any suggestions?

PCOM has a dual DO/MPH program, not sure that's what you are looking for though.

Of course it's harder to get in if you're an OOS student but at TCOM you can do a DO/MPH program also. One of the concentrations in the MPH program is Health Management and Policy (HMAP).

DMU allows you to do a dual degree in either DO/MPH or DO/MHA

Thanks guys

I'm from Illinois and actually live about 10 minutes away from CCOM, but don't think they have a dual degree program! How inconvenient!

Won't most schools let you take a leave of absense for a year to do a masters? Also, it seems as if most dual degree (save PhD) are only MPH or MPA. Are there any that let you do a masters is something that is not public health or biomedical sciences, say, neuroscience?
