No offense, but this stuff is pretty vanilla. I think we've all heard a million times to be confident and dress professionally. If I'm mistaken in making that assumption, then I suppose it will be borne out by gobs of posts contradicting me. But for my two cents, how about posting something a little more specific to what to expect as far as questions go. I don't want your take on the answers, because if I go in with stock answers I'm going to be a stock applicant, which will not impress an interview board.

I just want to know what kind of left-field questions medical interviewers like to throw at students so I can train myself to think in this fashion in order to anticipate oddities and have, if not an answer per se, then at least a graceful way to demur.

Interviews really aren't that crazy or difficult or pivotal, it seems - people have felt that they did very poorly and ended up getting in. So, these "vanilla" tips are actually ideas you should heed.
