Hi,
We have an article on www.doctorsgadgets.com by Yelena Shneyder that covers what the differences between pocket pc and palm are and how to get started using a pda in your clinical work. We've also got a list of links to other medical PDA sites on the links page http://www.newmediamedicine.com/DG/links.htm but I would recommend having a read through all the stuff at Ectopic Brain as well. Other sites to have a look at are www.handheldmed.com and www.skyscape.com Hope it helps, Chris |

PDA's, while not essential, are damn useful for clinical rotations/life/amusement. I use my drug database (epocrates) daily and the scheduling tool to keep track of lectures/call/free lunches.
Seriously, if you have $200 you can spend, go for it. -Mary
