The FDA has automated mailing list that you can sign of for - current events show up in your mailbox.

If you are feeling particularly frisky - you can join APhA, that has a similar email system.

I don't know that this is "current events" but I think it's interesting. It's funny just to read but then interesting to read the comments and further discussions that come from the original blog he does.
