i was surfing some private & academic eye center websites and many of them listed cosmetic procedures as part of their practice.. since when ophthos performed these/??!! botox, lipo on the face and actual eye lift/eyelid surgery? i had no idea.. do u need a special fellowship for these?

Ophthalmologists have been doing ptosis repair and eye-lift procedures for a long, long time. You don't need fellowships to do these procedures, but for those who desire to do more complicated plastics work around the eyes, then there are oculoplastic fellowships available. The one here at Iowa is 2 years long.
