Cal State University for 2 years. G chem: B+, A, A Calculus I, II: A, A Quantitative Chemical analysis: A- Physics B+ Gen Bio: A, A, A raised GPA from 3.3 to 3.7 went to UC Irvine for 2 quarters O chem: A, A Physics: B+, B+ Calculus III: A- Overall GPA: 3.7 Currently enrolled at UCLA Ochem III: B+ Biochem I: A Inorganic chem: A- Molecular bio: A Genetics A Current GPA: 3.7 Currently taking Honors Biochem III and 2 different Cell bio classes. my major is biochemistry. Also part of student research program at the stem cell institute (Dont have my own project yet but hopefully by the fall I will) currently a senior but wont graduate this year. havent taken MCAT yet. not sure if I want to pursue medicine or biofuel industry. Your GPA looks fine for a med school admission, but you also need a competitive MCAT score, and the usual extracurriculars. It looks like you have research, but what about community service, clinical experience, shadowing, and leadership?
Attending multiple schools isn't an issue. Your overall cumulative GPA is what will be looked at. |
