Does the admissions committee rank each applicant and the top applicants who put army as their #1 get into the army? Or does a representative of each branch look through the candidates and pick out the ones they want and then the horse tradeing begins, (like the NFL draft?) I have heard people say that they were wait listed for Navy or AF and then told that a spot was available in the Army. That seems to indicate that some short of ranking system is in place and the higher your rank as a candidate the better your odds at getting into the program of your choice. Does anyone know any specifics or have any comments? |
