Hello,
I've been doing some research on a dual residency in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. I wonder if anyone out there had completed this specialization and could give their opinion on it? What types of things does it opens doors to? What do you like about it, or what don't you like about it?

Thanks

You'd be a PCP, a generalist in adults and pediatrics, and you can deliver babies. It opens the door to being able to becoming a board certified sub-specialist in an area of adult medicine (cardiology, infectious disease, etc.)
