Have any of y'all tried recruiting some more pre-pharmacy/pharmacy students to come to this site? I just got an e-mail from my school and they didn't bother to mask the recipients so I now have all the e-mail addresses for the 100+ people that are going to be in my class. I'm contemplating whether or not I should send out an anonymous, mass e-mail to all the people on the list to try to get some more posters in here.

Interesting idea, but I'm more partial to knowing who i invite rather than a mass EM to everyone. You could, in seconds theoretically, change the entire nature of this forum.

With 4 pharmacy schools in Texas, you guys deserve better representation. Heck, I think Pennsylvania has something like 6 COPs in their state (the most in any one state besides CA), but we only have one LECOM student posting in this forum. Where are all those Pennsylvania students?

We're about to get a 5th pharmacy school here too (Texas A&M is opening a pharmacy school in Kingsville).

It seems like there are an inordinate amount of west coasters in all the forums. Maybe it's just because CA is the most populous state and the site is based out of there.

How did y'all find out about this site anyway? I think I discovered it by searching "pre med student" on Google back in my pre-med days.

I actually don't remember, it was a number of years ago. I remember browsing the medical forums; this was well after my undergrad days.

Yeah, I heard about it from a pre-med a long time ago, before they had a pharmd forum in fact. One day on a whim, I checked it and it was there.

That was back in the day when it was only like Brill BMBioloby on this forum. Sniffle..sniffle.....you guys grow up so fast

I do plan to place a note on the student board(advising center) because the school has about 400 pre-pharmacy students.

LECOM has pre-pharm students? I'm confused. 400 seems like a LOT.

Jdpharmd, i think they have 400,000 pre-pharmacy students. I was talking about my undergraduate school as you are always looking for clear-like-water answers.

I think that you've lost your mind. 400,000???! If that were an equal distribution between all 50 states (and it can't be), then that would mean 8,000 PER STATE, EVERY STATE. There is no way that there are NEARLY that many. I went to a school of 45,000 and we had about 10 in my class.
