look, it is not the lung that's for sure, it is the last one to be effected. however, it is either the liver or the brain.
most of what i read mentioned the liver first although others mentioned the brain first!!!

i guess it should be liver too...coz ccl4 forms free radicals which damage the liver first from the portal circulation that too in zone 3 which is closest to the portal vein...do correct me if i am wrong...gudluck

Lightbulb what would you do ?

ppl take a min. and think about it
what would u do if u have one month only remaning for your test and you have one major topic not finished for ex. antamoy, pathology.....

why i am saying this , i think to get a high score u only do it right before the exam when u enter into over drive mode

plz let all try to benefit and make a map to crack this exam

Thanks for saying that Haam. i needed that. i'm still in a panic mode. i finally decided that since i have read biochem from 3 sources, i'll combine them into 1 single notes. what do u think? it might take a while though. I'm sure it this is a good idea, ocz its time consuming. When people say they r reading from multiple books, how can they manage to revise all of them when they gets closer to the exam?
I started with dental ant from wheelers. do u think decks and kaplan r enough for dent ant or should i read wheelers thoroughly? and i'll probably would wana make notes for that too.. which is another confused idea of mine
let me know what u think. How r u doing it?

I do not think they are the same cz kaplan nbde lecture notes is one book for the whole materials but the usmle lecture notes ,for each material there is a separate book..actually I haven't seen the kaplan nbde whatsoever..

As far as my research goes on this topic, this is what i understood - the curve of spee will become shallow when a segment of mandibulat molar teeth over erupts.
this wasnt given in one simple sentence like this. i gathered this from reading a lot of explainations from different resources.
and also every where i searched, there was always a sentence saying - the curve of spee is important for orthodontists in their Rx plan.

Curve of spee flattens with eruption of molars.... helps in correction of increased overbite....

Curve of spee will become shallow when a segment of mandibular molar teeth over erupts means its losing its curvature and moves towards becoming flat.
Are we on the same page?

this wasnt given in one simple sentence like this. i gathered this from reading a lot of explainations from different resources.
and also every where i searched, there was always a sentence saying - the curve of spee is important for orthodontists in their Rx plan.[/QUOTE

Curve of spee flattens with eruption of molars.... helps in correction of increased overbite....

I have searched a lot about that and found out that the pass/fail system would start since jan 2012.I also found out that universities may change they application requirement since 2012 if the NBDE scoring be changed.I heard from a friend of mine who is now a student of UCLA that it is possible that schools take their own exams but he wasn't sure about that.In my view if the system be changed, then it would have effect on every thing.because of a medical problem,I couldn't prepare for nbde until now.I bought all of the text books and going to prepare for the exam.certainly I would take this year but I don't know what happens if I apply in 2012.
