Default Taking Most Labs After Applying?

SDN Members don't see this ad. (About Ads)
I've taken a few labs but I want to take most of them after applying (next year) because I've accepted an ER scribe position that will take up 20+ hours a week, on average. I figure the lecture will give me most of the info I need to study for the MCAT and all, but how will med schools see this?

I really want this position because I want to learn what being in the hospital is like and have the opportunity to see how doctors do what they do every day.

Also, is there a limit to how many classes you can apply to med school without? (So long as you complete them before matriculating.)

It's definitely less than ideal.

For most schools, probably "technically" no, but most applicants will have completed all of the prereqs so you will be putting yourself at a huge disadvantage.
