Default things you WISH you could have written in your PS

SDN Members don't see this ad. (About Ads)
even though i'm done with my ERAS application, i'm still a tad bit traumatized by the whole application process.....and waiting for rejections/interviews is painful....and scary. I woke up with wack thoughts this morning and I remember that while i was writing my PS, i would come up with WACK things i *wished* i could write.

this should help all the people still working on their apps. *snigger*

- I am the greatest medical student in the world today. TAKE ME.

- Let's fire up the match baby, cos' this medical student is on FIRE!!!!!

- Occasionally i would miss classes and sleep like a king.

- Medicine is in trouble if brilliant people like myself don't get a job.

- It makes no sense that you don't want me.

- How much can you pay me?

can you imagine the reactions these would get from a PD? WACK.

Hey you forgot one.

I love to travel and take vacation time.

When is my vacation?

The TRUE things I wish I could have written:

1) I almost quit medical between first and second year. Sometimes I wish I had.

2) I want to be an artist, not a physician.

3) People should tell you what medicine is really like (no time to really get to know your patients, algorithmic, very non-humanities oriented) before you spend all this time, heartache, and your youth on medical school.

4) $200K really IS a lot of money to pay off.

Depressing, hm?

Pretty much so...I think I still have copies. If I'm not so lazy, I'll email one to you.

"After several years of bartending, motorcycle riding, spending a lot of time at the lake, and just otherwise hanging our and loving life, I decided to focus my energies on aquiring a medical degree."

O wait...I did say that.
