Me too. I got marked complete pretty fast and received this by snail mail today. Today was a bad day: first Tulane rejection and then this. Oh well...Whatever happens, happens for the best even though I may not realize it now.

Got the "continue to review" letter this afternoon as well. I'm just bummed because PSU is my state school and they are supposed to want me! :-P I'll be happy if they take me off hold, but I'm not holding my breath.

I received my "application complete" email yesterday, and now my status says:

"Our records indicate that your application is complete, and is currently being reviewed by the Admissions Committee. You will be contacted by mail and/or phone during the next several weeks with its decision."

Besides the snail mail rejection, has anyone actually received a phone call invite? or are they by email?

Never heard of a phone call for an interview invite - everyone here seems to have gotten them by email. Mine came 3 days after my application was marked complete, a lot of people seem to be within a week of going complete.

already 3 interviews.. but kind of surprised they didn't just put me on hold.

Does anyone know if they have student hosts here? The lady I talked to when scheduling my interview said that there's a special hotel rate...is there anything other than that?

Got the "continue to review" snail-mail today, or ****-listed as I am calling it. Banking on a computer error that accidentally accepts me instead of a student with a similar name .

Received the complete e-mail on 8/25

Yeah, no joke. They've got me checking my mail (my ACTUAL mail, not my email) twice a day! No letter of doom yet . . . but it's only a matter of time, I'm sure.

I had the same response...I sent in my secondary 7/29 completed 9/9 and I emailed them 2 weeks before I got my complete email and I got a response earlier this week!

Oh no, what happened to the theory that a long time between submitting and complete email = interview? It took me forevs to be complete here so I really liked that theory.

Well I think it's all just that -- a theory.

I mean, this is what inevitably happens when you take a bunch of overachievers, have them throw in their bids for the most important event of their lives so far, and then say, "Okay, now just sit tight, cause there's NOTHING you can do at this point except wait."

So we all sit here and over-analyze until we blow a fuse or something.

I mean, I liked the theory, too. Maybe it'll work out for us Good luck!

Not necessarily true! It took me 4-5 weeks to be complete, then an II 2 weeks later.

Well my 5 weeks just past, going on to 6 weeks, and still no complete email yet. This does take a long time.

I don't know if this is against any rules or not, but I got an interview set up for December 5. I'm just wondering if there are any current students I could talk to about staying at their place. The lady I talked to said they didn't have a student housing program. If you're open perhaps you should PM me.
