Guys, make sure that the secondary you received from USC is not University of Southern Carolina. Because I got an email from them and I was excited that I got USC (University of Southern California) but I didn't

I already graduated and missing a few credit hours for that humanities requirement. When should I take those classes?

I just finished taking the last class I needed for the matriculation requirements 10 days ago. If you have most of the prerequisites, you can wait until you're sure on USC before you take classes you don't need!

Ya I'm in the same boat. Guess we just have to wait till they upload them and change the status....I don't think it's worth it to pester them about it this early.

This school looks awesome! I'm hoping to do ER med, and LA would be a great place to see some cool pathology!

I hope my 7/29 MCAT isn't too late... ugh.

USC can take a while with stuff like this, and IIRC, they start interviewing a little later than some other schools. If you've designated your letters on AMCAS, USC has them, but probably haven't gotten to them yet.

I sent my letters and secondary in this morning, and my application is marked as complete.

Wow, these are some pretty interesting questions. Certainly not the typical questions you see year after year at some places. Also props to all the schools taking up the new MMI format!

I'm pretty sure it qualifies... Psychology isn't considered a hard science, and they'll accept almost any course that's not BCPM as a humanities course.

They will get around to you. My MCAT scores or LOR's haven't even got to AMCAS and I'm international. Yours will come

Don't worry so much.

I called them up today and they said they're sending the supplementaries out in batches and should have the rest out in a week or so.

I do feel your pain though.

I just got a reply from them via email, and the answer is indeed yes.

I apologize if this is a stupid question...but are we allowed to make changes to individual sections if I click on "Save and Continue"? It shows a green check next to that section, but I want to go back and edit it before submitting my final application!

Yes, I did just pay the fee with my Diner's Club card.

Submitted. I really liked this secondary, I felt like I got to blow off some steam while I wrote the short answer responses.

I second the awesomeness of the secondary questions. I was growing tired of filling out prompts of "why X school".

Agreed, it really reenforces why this is my first choice they seem like they are genuinely interested in the applicant as a whole! Hopefully ill be 'fighting on' one of these days

I saw the same thing on my application, but maybe they only need them once you're accepted? I got the "complete" email a few days ago, so I'm not going to worry unless they say anything.

I didn't need to send in my final transcripts until after I got accepted. I really don't think they want your transcripts right now, it's probably just a mistake in the website.

Verified this morning, got the secondary invite a few hours ago.

Trying to think of how to approach these really unique questions, particularly the "most fun you've had" and "most prized possession" -- I tend to overthink things and that quality is rearing its ugly head right now.

Just submitted what was easily my favorite secondary to fill out

I have submitted my AMCAS application and all my letters are going through AMCAS. I don't think that these have all been submitted yet by my advisor, I am waiting for my last one. I have not yet received my secondary. How do I know when AMCAS has verified my application? Will they do that before I have submitted my letters of recommendation? do i have to send the same letters of recommendation directly to the school once I get the secondary?? I've already received secondaries from 3 other schools. I'm an OOS applicant and am truly freaking out at this point this is probably my top choice.

If you've submitted, you'll get an email once you're verified. Check out the AMCAS verification thread under Pre-Allo to get an idea of when you'll be verified, perhaps.

And you don't need the LORs in to be verified, nor do you have to send additional copies of them to individual schools; but the sooner they're in, the less you'll have to worry about them

Is there a place to see a printout/pdf of our application before submitting it? I just want to make sure things are formatted correctly (I've had to change some things after seeing other secondary printouts).
