nothing, i have sent her an e-mail yesterday! it is too annoying if i send her an e-mail again. Usually she will give out response within one business day. Anyway, call your friend to wait....

yeah i remember they said we would hear from then with in 2 weeks but it took way longer than 2 weeks

it is very annoying....Gail is doing all of the admissions processing by herself but the Sept folks should have heard something first......right?

i have no idea, regarding CNCP's working process (this pharmacy has unpredictable working process). i only knew some people got accepted, but i want to know if anyone was denied or waitlisted!!!

lol idk b/c I've been emailing her about other things and she's been responding super quickly so I don't think it's b/c she's not reading your email probably just b/c she can't give any info out or something.

oh and i know someone on this forum got waitlisted from the sept interview.

thank you for your information! if the results of acceptance and waitlist have been released, then i can assume that i am denied! honestly, i really want to get in a pharmacy school next year, so i will apply another pharmacy schools instead.

oh noes don't assume you've been denied yet!
I know it sucks but just keep on waiting and hoping. Though if this is the only school u've applied to then you should add a couple more, it's still very early in the application cycle.

Rphbound and Ayuka001, thank you for comforting me. I have waited for almost 7 weeks, and the waiting time is killing me. If I am waitlisted, I will apply 1-2 pharmacy schools. But, if I am denied, I will apply 3-4 pharmacy schools (cost me more money). Different situations will have different plans, hope CNCP will give me the answer before thanksgiving. BTW, congrat on both of your acceptances!!

For those who got accepted from the sept interview, who thinks he/she received a late acceptance call and how many weeks after your interview was it? They said 3-4 weeks so I'm hoping they didnt send out all of the approvals on one day...

I am hoping for the same thing! I am from the October 28th interview, whoever go their acceptance was either last Tuesday or Wednesday!! (according to whomever replied on the SDN that is) I hope there will be more acceptance coming up this week!!

I mean they said 3-4 weeks so I figure might as well wait one more week before givin up hope

I know that waitlist email brought my hopes back up a little. I didn't see a lot of people from the sept interview say they were waitlisted. They do tiers right? So those waitlisted from our group should have a good chance for acceptance, right??

yes, if you are waitlisted at the first three rounds, the probability CNCP picked you is really high. As you know, many ppl applied CNCP as back up school and CNCP did not rank the waitlist. No worry! you will be got in! Someone waitlist in March last year can got in also! good luck!

Hello. Im new to this Forum and just recently submitted my PharmCAS application. I was wondering if someone could tell me if my stats are good enough to get into Cal Northstate:

Graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Biology with emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior in the summer of 2010 with an overall 3.128 GPA

Pharmacy Experience:
-Shadowed for 40hrs in the inpatient pharmacy dept. at one hospital and for 20hrs at another
- Shadowed at a compunding pharmacy for pets for 8hrs
- Shadowed at a pharmaceutical company for 8hrs
- Was a research intern at a sterile compounding pharmacy where I took part in the brainstorming process to prodouce a sterile clean room environment for compounding as well as actually assisting in setting up the pharmacy~100hrs

Working experience:
-Lab Assistant at a toxicology lab- Responsible for testing urine specimens for alcohol, drugs of abuse, and steroids- Just started
-Lab Technician- Temp. position where I would prepare and analyze samples of genetically modified fruits and vegetables for the benefit of farmers- 3 months
-UC Davis Lab Assistant- Observed and took photos of the lipid productivity of different strains of yeast using a Fluorescent and DIC microscope-5 months
- UC Davis Microscope Services- Cleaned, checked, and did minor repairs on microscopes all over UC Davis-4 months

Extracurriculars:
-Habesha Student Union- I was the organizer of health/fitness related affairs. I would set up times for members to meet at the school gym and exercise in order to emphasize a healthy college lifestyle~100hrs
-Pan African Student Organization-Member~40hrs
-Played IM basketball and soccer
-Helped raise money for a better water purification system in southern Ethiopia~20hrs
- Volunteered at a Thrift store~16hrs
-Volunteered at a retirement home~40hrs in 2004 and 2005 (A little old)

I plan to read over the website to prepare. This will be my third interview so I should know what to expect by then.
