-- how stressful. my question is, does anyone have any success rates for applicants to the USCIS? ethically, immigration attorneys should only take cases they feel they can win -- -- that said, our case was accepted by the attorney, and we're plodding through affidavits and the like, but the bigger question of success rates is always there. we thought normal J-1 onc jobs would be plentiful, but as we're seeing it, there just aren't a lot of underserved areas offering J1 onc positions -- there are 91 onc jobs posted, and 1 is for J1 -- :| all this makes the hardship waiver critical, since it will lift this otherwise difficult situation, where my spouse will have to return to india for 2 years -- not fun. |

Since you two are married, why doesn't he get a green card? This shouldn't take longer than half a year once you are married, at least from what I know.
I think this forum might be of better help to you: http://forums.immigration.com/ Good luck!
