So far I am on a: - Reggaeton kick (Wisin y Yandel & Wibal y Alex specifically) - Florence and the Machine - The Shins - Incubus - 311 kick. What are yall listening to lately? |

Obviously, I'm the old fart in this thread, lol.
I listen to a wide variety of genres, but can't/won't/don't do hip-hop, rap or much top 40. Albannach - my favorite Scottish drumming band. The energy these guys produce is indescribable. If you have a drop of Scottish blood in your veins, they will cause it to stir. Nothing better than throwing back a wee pint or 2 of Belhaven w/ these guys inside the smallest Scottish pub and having those drums vibrate through your entire body. Can't turn it off until at least 3:10.
Also, most of their stuff is good just as a rule. Other stuff I've been listening to recently is just techno stuff. Boyz Noise (Oi Oi Oi), Justice (Cross), Idealism (Digitalism) are pretty good, especially Justice - Cross, because you'll get about halfway through and be thinking "****, I really should be dancing to this instead of studying." But if you can't dance (like I), it's not a big deal. |
