The accepted students have until May 1st to send in their acceptance letters... then who knows how long it will take for the admissions office to get back to those on the waiting list.

I don't know how accurate this information is but...
I have a friend in the Wichita class now who said the dean mentioned there are only about a dozen people total on the waiting list for 2016. |

I called in and asked how many people were on the waitlist and they told me 10 for the Lawrence campus. so i bet that's right. Has anyone from the waitlist gotten in yet? Or when they'll send those letters out? I'm really curious because I need to respond to other schools!

Congrats to those who got in! I was wondering if any accepted are out of state? I live in Nebraska and love the KU school and curriculumn. Just wondering if anyone had insight for a non-Kansas applicant for next year. Thanks!

KU accepts a decent number of out-of-state students. I think there is a slight bias for instate but not much. The interview is only 30 minutes so a lot of people don't come out for just 30 minutes. If you want to stay there are students who will give you a tour of the building. Worth applying though.

I got in! Got my letter yesterday! If you're on the waitlist, stay hopeful. I know of a few people who have recently declined their offers. See you all August 17!
