Thumbs down Extension of my Step 2 CK qBank subscription

Hi.

Currently, I have a subscription of Kaplan Step 2 CK qbank. I had a big unavoidable personal issues to be dealt with and won't be able to finish the bank in 1 month of my subscription. I wanted to extend my subscription, only to find that Kaplan doesn't offer extensions to qbanks anymore!! I remember extending my qbank subscription during my Step 1 prep.

This is a huge problem and Kaplan should have made it VERY clear before students subscribe to their qbanks that they are not going to offer very simple and basic function of extension!

I called up Kaplan customer service and after waiting for 30 minutes, a very rude girl told me that they dont offer it any more and that Kaplan had made it clear to its students in July 2010. Now, am I supposed to be visiting kaplanmedical.com every day and look for changes?

I am sure that when I subscribed to the qbank, I did not get any warning or a message saying that we dont offer extensions!!

Default I would also really need an extension!

Hi!

I have also had a very rough as well as busy time the last couple of weeks, including moving to the United States and starting to work over here. I will therefore not be able to finish the question bank before my subscription expires.

I had the exact same experience when I called Kaplan Support and was greeted by a rude guy who told me that extensions are not offered anymore. I kindly offered to pay 99$ for a full new months subscription even though I don't need more than two weeks, as long as my data concerning answered questions, correctly answered questions, incorrectly answered questions could be saved. I was rudely informed that there was no guarantee for that, but that I could start off by buying the new subscription for 99$ and then we would see. I replied that I would not like to buy the new subscription unless I was guaranteed that the data could be saved. The 'support' told me that I didn't have to buy anything...

Could anyone please help me with this issue? The question banks is expiring thursday night, and I would very very much like to save the information regarding my questions before it all disappears

Thank you very much in advance.
