Interaural time & level difference, masking effect, brain using harmonics to perceive the absent fundamental, binaural beats, etc..

It's incredibly unlikely that it would appear on the Praxis. The phenomenon is just an example of binaural cues to pitch. Two stimuli that would otherwise be perceived as noise when presented monaurally are perceived as having a recognizable pitch when presented dichotically.
