need to reset my Kaplan USMLE Step 1 QBank. Selecting "All Questions" means that I see some questions 5 times & others I don't see at all. Thus, to truly make sure I go through all the questions, I need to reset the QBank. My friend reset her QBank with the help of a supervisor from Kaplan. I need to do this as well. Kaplan advises that going through the QBank more than once is optimal but that's not possible for me right now. I'm tired of seeing some questions over & over again & some not at all. Reset is the simplest way to go through all the questions again without wasting my time on the same questions. Thank you for your help.

Hello missmedschool!
At the top of the Qbank window to "Create A New Test", #2 Question Mode: simply check Unused Only. If you need additional help with your Qbank, please contact customer service by phone, or if you live near a center, talk with a med advisor in person. They can walk you through any issues. Responded to your PM, too. Thank you! |

Thanks Emily. Didn't really answer the question though... Are we able to reset our Kaplan QBank progress on our own or not?
Appreciate the response |

Hi BLapp,
You cannot reset Qbank yourself. However, please call customer service if you need some assistance! 1-800-KAPTEST or 1-212-977-5883 outside US/Canada. |

Unfortunately nearly all of my interactions with customer service so far have been terribly unfruitful. I would think it would be good business to make this easy to use and convenient.. |

Hi MD13,
Thank you for your feedback, though I am sorry to hear you have had some issues. I will forward your comments. Most people want their Qbank histories intact so resetting is not of interest to them. Along with question practice, they track their progress, see where more study is needed and take advantage of the various resources within each Qbank as they move through their study plan. Another reason not to reset your Qbank is so others cannot gain unauthorized access to your account. This not only protects Kaplan's property but also your unique account information. Hi missmedschool,
I'm sorry to hear your experience has not been satisfactory, and will forward your comments to customer service. I've sent you a Private Message, too. You are a valued customer and we want the product you purchase to meet your needs, so I will forward to our technical team your comments about the questions appearing over and over. Please be aware, too, that re-using any Qbank will give you inflated results, probably about 10%. Thank you so much for letting us know about these issues. |
