SDN Members don't see this ad. (About Ads)
So I am planning on applying this June and I really want to submit my application asap. I don't have stellar GPA so I want to maximize my chance. Now the biggest problem is I didn't know I wanted to go into this field until very recently and I have very minimal job shadowing experience. In fact, I really only had some when I went to an international volunteering trip for a month or so. What do you guys think any advices would be much appreciated ![]() I am trying to focus on my DAT which I am going to take in late June :S Thanks guys best of luck! |

You could go through a lot of trouble then shadow and decide dentistry is not for you.

Nothing to do here

You need shadowing experience.
A good number to shoot for is 100 hours. Go watch a private practice dentist. You are going to need a LOR from a dentist anyway. |
