Has anyone who applied to the University of Washington heard anything?? UDub is my first choice and I've been frantically scanning the interview invite forums and haven't found anyone who has heard. I have 2 interviews coming up and was really hoping to hear from UDub one way or another by now...anyone have anything??

I'm in the same position! I applied to UW (my top choice as well), and can't find any updates no matter how I scour the internet. I applied for the child clinical program, and according to the website FAQ I should probably expect to hear something this month (at least if it's good news). I did get an email recently that the financial aid department had received my application... considering the application was due over two months ago, I'm holding out hope that maybe, just maybe, this isn't something every single applicant receives. Keep us posted if you hear something?

And I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one! I got the financial aid email as well. I'm going CRAZY! but super hesitant about contacting the department because of the update on the FAQ page of the website. It just seems so late to me for such a good school, it's so odd!

AFAIK, University of Washington extends interviews by lab, not the overall program. So people will be invited at different times depending on whom they applied to work with.

Yeah, I have been lurking on these sites for a long time not posting anything, but finally seeing someone else talking about UW, I just had to create an account and comment. I'm generally feeling pretty pessimistic because it's so late, but I'm still holding out some hope. And I'm definitely not calling considering what they put in the FAQ (plus, one of my friends called a program she applied to, was told all interview offers had been sent out, and then received hers two weeks later... so, what's the point if it's not definite?)
I'm interested in childhood anxiety disorders, so I said I'd want to work with Dr. Fainsilber Katz, Dr. McLaughlin, or Dr. Dorsey. I'm also interested in autism so I added Dr. Stone as well. And even though Dr. Lengua is listed as not accepting applicants, her research seemed like a perfect fit for me so I figured why not add her name too. What about you??

My first choice was Dr. McLaughlin. I have been following her work from Boston and once I saw that she made the move to UW I was ecstatic. I still feel somewhat optimistic because NO ONE has heard anything yet. There are a few schools where I still haven't heard anything but other people have gotten interviews, those I've let go of hope for. But I haven't seen anyone post that they received an invite so I don't know what's going on. Still hopeful though!

Who knows? Maybe in some crazy super duper optimistic version of the future we will end up working in her lab together! Yeah, I've pretty much given up on a couple of the programs I applied to since I saw other people getting interview invites, but your post is the only thing I've seen about UW... so I can't help but hang on to a glimmer of hope. Please let me know if you hear anything at all, either directly or through the grape vine. I'll do the same!

Thats just one lab though. There might be more posts about UW in that thread though, i think i read one more at least. I'm in the same waiting boat, not expecting any good news tbh

Bummer but thanks for sharing... I check that thread all the time but I guess the list at the beginning hasn't been consistently updated. Feeling pretty pessimistic myself... seems like I'm most likely doomed to go through this whole application process again... I guess at least I have some things in mind I can do to better my chances for next time. Still would love to hear any more updates people have though! It's the uncertainty that kills me... no matter how unlikely it is at this point that I'll get in, I can't stop compulsively checking everything until I have a definitive answer!
