That's correct, the term is Summer 2013.

this is right don't worry, i was using my last year account , i Just did a new account and chose the IDDP 2013 this is the new application form

Hi guys, when are we supposed to receive a confirmation email from UIC? I just submitted my application.

Online supplemental application, school application fee, CAAPID application, and documents send to school - Once they have all of these you will receive your confirmation email, if anything is missing they'll let you know as well.

They are on the office Monday through Friday 8 to 4:30, so don't expect emails over the weekend nor late night.

i just want to know do they confirm receipt of teofl scores?
ETS directly sent it to UIC as mentioned on the website ...but how do i know if UIC has received it?

hi...did u request ETS for official score report to be mailed or sent electronically to uic...thanx

You can view the status of your TOEFL after you submit UIC supplemental application. It'll be updated on your application status. I have no idea about the transcripts.

If you want to I don't think it would hurt at all..... I have an Orthodontics degree, and I sent it with my application last year.

They will not confirm receipt of TOEFL scores solely, as soon as they get your CAAPID and supplemental application, if anything is missing (like if they haven't received the TOEFL yet), they will let you know.

As mango salsa said you can check it online also, but once again you won't receive and email or a call to tell you that they received your scores.

How is the interview like? Do they have a bench test?

I listed UIC as one of the four recipients that toefl sends scores to when you take the test, as i gave my toefl recently .

I recently heard that the interview format is going to change this year, mainly because of the new boards result format (pass/fail)... So last year there was not a bench test, and I'm not sure there'll be a bench test, but for sure the IV isn't going to be the same format as it was last year.

thank you hope4, i will add copies of my advanced dental education transcripts...

I did see my UIC online application status as mango salsa said, but couldn't see TOEFL status/subsection anywhere in it so was wondering about the same. But i guess they might update that info when they receive it as you mentioned.

since you were an applicant last year, can you tell me which month do interviews usually start at UIC? I have heard UIC is usually the first school to accept students. The reason i ask is i haven't applied to very many schools(just 4) and i am really banking on getting into UIC. If i don't get accepted then i might apply to other schools. I know people apply to almost 12 schools or so, so i was wondering if I'm taking a huge risk by applying to only few schools. Your input will be helpful to me to go on the right path as i cannot afford to waste another year.

Interviews start as early as Mid July.

I initially applied for the schools that had their deadlines closer, if by the end of the year I didn't get any calls from those schools I was planning on applying to other schools as well... I'm glad I didn't have to.

You can do it today! Even if they receive your online/supplemental application before they receive your CAAPID its ok, they'll just wait until they have everything to send you a "complete application" email.

Your transcripts need to be sent by the Office of Registrar actually, but I'm not sure about the emailing thing, I haven't heard of it before... Try to send a short and specific email about it to see if you get a response.

Sorry I don't feel comfortable, and don't think it's fair with others sharing details of the interview.

If you search for last years UIC thread you'll find a lot of general info about the interview over there.

Generally speaking they'll test some dental knowledge and there'll be some personal questions as well, that's pretty much what I can say about it....

this is from the instructions for the application (Original Evaluated Dental School Transcript from ECE or WES - Original ECE or WES academic record evaluation report (MUST be course-by-course)
- Notarized copies of evaluations will be accepted if official evaluations cannot be obtained

I have not receive any e-mail yet, I think CAAPID application have not mailed to the programs yet.

That is great ...I received email saying that they received my CAAPID application... but my online status is application received ...Do I have to wait for their email?

Does the application complete email mean something, I mean if you get it early means they are interested in your application status, or it doesn'y matter. any idea!!!
