Default MSSM Bronx VA elective

Hi guys, i am foreign medical student. I've been accepted for a clinical elective rotation at Bronx VA, an affiliate of Mt.Sinai SoM in the cardiology department. I was wondering if that is a well worth facility for a clinical rotation. Secondly, i've not heard very good remarks about the VA facilities overall. How true is that and where does the Bronx facility fit in as far as standards are concerned.
