No need. There's a page on VSAS for you to upload a photo. It goes out as part of your whole application.

I definitely would not. If I were the person evaluating candidates, I'd automatically exclude you. That's just me though so who knows.

I kind of felt the same way. But why do they want it on VSAS? I'm female and blonde and don't want to seem like I'm trying to get a spot for "my looks."

The pic is used to help evaluate you during and after your rotation. In my experience, the away rotations used a sheet of paper with everyones name and picture to keep straight who was who for evaluation purposes. Since most schools use VSAS and the photo is often required, just include a pic. If you're emailing the info, email it as a separate file. If hand mailing, just ask them if they need a photo for anything, and still try and email it. A hard copy of the photo seems pointless.
