Hi, I took the MCAT this summer and I got a respectable/good score, but I'm thinking about retaking next summer if I feel that I can score at least 3 or 4 points higher. I was planning on looking at my practice test scores to see if I start averaging higher than my actual score from this summer, but I took all 8 AAMC practice tests this time. Would it be better to retake the AAMCs and see what my scores look like (I don't think I would remember much after a full year) or to look at my scores on another company's FLs?
How did your GS scores compare to you AAMC scores and your actual MCAT score? I'd just like to get a feel for any trends in score similarities/differences. Thank you! |

I'm sure others will share their opinions but I would suggest that most students on SDN would say that re-doing AAMC tests have little to no diagnostic value.
Regarding the question of AAMC vs real scores, you can find comparisons here: http://www.mcat-prep.com/forum/viewt...=1203&start=15 |
