Default Qbank for EM?

SDN Members don't see this ad. (About Ads)
Future colleagues, really liked using usmleworld for studying during medical school. Would usmleworld for step 3 be and okay way to spend some of my book funds? Meaning, does anyone know if the material not only applies well to the usmle but also to the in-service exam in February or other material, i.e. you can break it down into specialties and is that helpful for the monthly cord exams? Are there other qbanks that are even better geared toward EM? Okay, back to senioritis.

Hate to be a downer, but - bad idea. I had that STEP-3 Q-bank, and I'm a graduating senior.

That Q-bank is faaaar too general and not at all EM-specific. Baaad idea.

However, I do have a suggestion:

See if you can get your hands on the PEER-VIII questions, and there's another book called "1000 Questions to help you prepare for the EM Boards". They're pretty good. There's no electronic version, but... whatev.

Yep, just get Peer 7 and Peer 8 electronic versions - that's about 1000 questions together

There is no PEER 8 electronic version. I was saddened when I had read that they decided not to release it that way.
