early July is OK as long as you're DAT is done, if you apply June 4th its a better and will help you secure interviews in late September to early October.

from applying in this past cycle, I have deduced that the absolute deadline to be considered for the first round of acceptances is mid August. I called a couple of schools and though they didn't directly answer my question, I have deduced that it is mid August, meaning you have EVERYTHING in. This way it will be mailed out by end of August to early September. July is perfectly fine. Of course if you have low 3.0 ish gpa, I would submit in June.

Depends. Some schools (especially some southern ones) only June to mid-July is early.
They interview and fill their classes much earlier. |

I take my DAT on June 20th, so I was hoping to work on it after that. Would be wise to work on it as soon as it opens up, while studying for the DAT?
