What do we need to know about this equation? It comes up over again in AAMC...

Really? I don't remember ever seeing it. Probably just look at the mechanism on wikipremed and that'll be good enough.

i remember seeing it once or twice. mostly i just remember it from ochem class.

looked up mechanism on wiki. it is more than enough explanation.
