Not sure what you're asking. If you are asking if your 3.7GPA matters in your application, then yes. If you are asking if you will be able to transfer credit to medical school, then no.

Every college credit you have ever taken, whether community college, college courses taken in high school, or university will be averaged on your application.

Yup, every single credit you get counts!

Just as others have said, your AAS degree will count towards your cGPA.

I'm hoping the AAS degree & GPA will serve as some sort of proof that I have the potential to do well in medical school.
I don't know why they would be, but if those rotations you went through were with humans instead of animals you'll definitely have something to talk about during interviews.

Some additional information:

The rest of my coursework is from 3 CCs & 1 university. GPAs are embarrassingly low & that does include some of the prerequisites for medical school, all of which I plan on retaking. Probably looks pretty bad. This includes a lot of Ws & some Ds/Fs where I failed to properly withdraw from classes. There are some As thrown in there though. I had a really rough time with my family right out of HS up until about a year ago. I somehow was able to handle my VT courses without much issue, but there are a couple of Bs & a C from when my grandfather died & when my husband & I lost our baby.

I'm going back to school this Fall to complete a BPhil in human biology. I know what I'm capable of & would expect to get mostly As, maybe some Bs out of that. I've also looked into the SMP at Loyola (MAMS) & will probably end up going for it to try to prove that I can handle medical school.
I have an AAS in Paralegal Studies. My coursework/GPA was calculated into my GPA by AMCAS. HTH.

As everyone has said, every course, every credit ever taken for college will count on AMCAS GPA. The issue may be how the science courses you took are viewed by AMCAS. Often specialized health sciences are NOT counted in the BCPM GPA but simply counted in AO (all other).

BTW, the vet I recently had to take my cat to was a nontraditional student, not starting her DVM until she was 35.

1. Veterinary medicine is far harder than human medicine, unless you're talking about neo-natal work. None of your patients can talk or point to what hurts
2. Veterinary medicine is harder because you have to know multiple systems on multiple species, including non-mammalian species.
3. Veterinary medicine is harder because puppies who are abused by horrible humans still love you for helping them, and you have to deal with the fact that humans are by far the worst species on the planet...
4. Veterinary medicine is harder because you clearly have never tried to draw blood from the forelimb of a 10lb dog who really doesn't want you to stick it with a needle.
NEVER trash a veterinarian...
