I saw a calendar somewhere that said orientation week starts the week of July 29. Other than that I have no idea.

This is the schedule from OD-1 of the current class for Fall '11. It looks like mostly labs in the morning and class in the afternoon.

Hi, i'm pretty sure I'm going to Nova too...(unless SCCO pulls me off their waitlist, but I'm not holding my breath...).

Have any of you begun to look for housing yet?

I put a deposit down on a sweet furnished townhouse I found less than a mile from campus. Used this site:

http://www.nova.och101.com/

This site has apartment/condo/housing listings as well as lets you post match.com type listings to find a roommate in case you need one. It's really helpful.

I was originally leaning heavily toward the Rolling Hills campus housing, but they have studios and quads. (why there are no 2 bedrooms is beyond me) I've heard that the locale is nice and the security is great. All utilities included and they come furnished which is helpful as well. But for me, I would need more room and more closet space than one armoire.

I've also been perusing Nova's DO/Dental threads since they get more action than over here, some M1/M2's were giving some helpful insights about the campus.

Has anyone made a FB group yet?

Hey! I'm looking at the condos in Rolling Hills - very spacious

Also, there is a FB page - https://www.facebook.com/groups/276316675749306/

Thanks for the Nova Dental threads! I'll be looking on there for more info!
