Summer internship (industry)

I'm starting pharmacy school in the fall, but I took a summer internship position at a pharmaceutical company to make some money for the school year. I was just wondering if and how this summer internship experience will benefit me in the future. Any input would be great. Thanks in advance.

Benefits?
You will be making connections with people who could possibly hook you up with jobs later. If you get a few paper published, that is extra stuff you can put on your resume. Most importantly, you will learn new knowledge and techniques. Grats on getting the internship.

Congrats! I'm sure it will give you great experiences that will help you in the long run, like kcwang said. Just wondering, what will you be doing at this internship?

I think I will have my own project establishing some models to test some drugs.
