Only you can decide what's the best option for you. There are quite a few posts on here about MOT vs OTD, and while some people (like me!) see the value in the extra education, no one can conclusively say it will offer you an advantage right out of school. Do you have time to visit either school? Toledo and Chicago are VERY different cities, so if you can't decide based on the curriculum or the program itself, maybe feeling out where you'd be living for the next few years can help you make your decision.

Hi, I'm currently a 2nd yr UIC student. UIC does offer an OTD program, but you'll have to apply for that as well (you can apply while in the MSOT program). UIC is definitely more theory/research based but all of this is great foundation for clinical work.

Congrats on your acceptances! I'm sure you've already decided which school to attend. I'm applying to UT and UIC as well. Would you mind sharing your stats? Thanks!
