I'm using Notability & Evernote, not sure where GoodReader would fit in.

I went to a site with the top 60 free apps...holy cow. I was having a blast playing "Soundrop" this morning.

I used Noterize for all my 1st and 2nd year notes - but now I rely on GoodReader to handle most of my documents and files. Firstly, it has an awesome file management system (practically non-existent in Noterize) and secondly b/c it allows you to view multiple file types (not simply PDF and PowerPoint like in Noterize). It's even better for people that use services like DropBox, which allows me to sync my annotated PDF's / PDF versions of textbooks - fantastic if you need to switch between your iPad, iPhone, or a computer. Can't speak to Evernote as I never could quite figure out how to make it useful to me. Hope that helps.

Google "how a med student uses evernote" then watch the YouTube video.

It's all about the search functions for later review and use of your captured info.
