I would say a 20 would pair well with a 3.5 but realistically speaking try 2 get as high as possible

Since you're international it is hard to judge. The general metric is this

below a 17 you better have a 4.0 or above
3.9 17
3.7 18
3.5 19
3.3 20
3.1 21
under a 3.0 22+

Since you are an international student (non-Canadian I assume) I would shoot for at least an 21 AA to offset that disadvantage.

Good luck!

What is this based on? Anecdotal evidence or something more?

I'm basing it off my school, and what I've noticed on SDN. It is impossible to quantify everything like ECs, experience, and so on. I think this scale is pretty accurate as long as the persons Sci GPA matches their regular GPA.

You have plenty of EC, I don't think you need to worry too much about that.

Don't think about a "target" score you should get, instead try to get ever one of those questions right! The score you should get is the highest possible score you can achieve, then you will be happy.

Don't know if this is a joke or not, but that is not true.
Regardless of GPA you should get at least a 19
But if your GPA is avg or below avg you should really aim higher, such as a 20-21+

The average DAT for dental school martriculants is 19...that means some people have to be below some people have to be above. Will it be hard to get in with a an 18 yes. I could go on, but whats the point.

Oh if you actually go to MWU IL....Here are the official stats of your school

AA: 19
Sci GPA: 3.31
Over-all GPA: 3.41
