Countdown to AADSAS 2013

As director of admissions at Case School of Dental Medicine, I am hosting a webinar "countdown to AADSAS 2013" online on Saturday evening at 5pm ET. If you are interested, you should be able to access the open-ended discussion webinar at https://connect.case.edu/dentadmit13/ , but you should check your system to see if you can access with your webcamera-enabled device (with audio). I use Adobe Connect, and anyone who wishes to be part of this session can participate for free.

Preparing an application for AADSAS 2013? You should view our recruitment presentation from last year on your Windows-compatible browser with Adobe Flash Player. Then bring your questions to the webchat.

Test your connection before our presentation time:
1. Begin by testing your computer prior to attending the meeting. You can do this by going to: http://admin.adobeconnect.com/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm
The Connection Test checks your computer to make sure all system requirements are met.
2. Then reopen an internet browser of your choice that has the ability to use a plug-in for Flash 8 or higher.
3. Enter the meeting using this link.

4. You may be directed to install the Flash Player Plug-in.
5. Choose the "Enter as a Guest" option and use your name to sign in. Click "Enter Room" and you will be directed to the meeting platform.


I am told that the maximum capacity is 250, so this will be an interesting test of the server. For the benefit of those who are unable to attend, the session will be recorded, so all participants should understand that their participation will also include consent to be recorded for this purpose.
