I think youre good! A 19 TS and 21 AA is solid, if you have a decent gpa (3.3ish) youre good! people might disagree b/c the trend here is you have to have a 3.6 and 22+ to get in lol

I think your solid, especially in a subject meant to weed through people. Also, a 21 AA being above average for most schools, I would say not to worry!

Phew, thanks guys... those 18s have been driving me up a wall I never made below a 19 on either section... but I think I psyched myself out. If I could do it again I'd rewatch Chads videos every chance I got... also, destroyer... I guess I got cocky and that's what killed me.
For bio I focused almost solely on destroyer and DATQvault. I was working 40 hours a week so it was hard to fit in time to reallystudy. Bio was easy because I could go over a lot of it in my head while at work. Plus I got lucky and a lot of that stuff was from classes that I took just last semester. Organic really bothered me though... reactions and mechanisms are my bread and butter but there were hardly any mechanisms on there. Seriously by the time I got math I was convinced I'd completely bombed the whole thing. My math section was absurdly easy though and this is coming from someone who is horrid at math. For the PAT I really reccommend finding some partern folding with complex shapes. I didn't have a whole lot of complex shading ones but I had some crazy looking shapes. For me that was a god-sent but for those who haven't seen them it can be intimidating. My gpa is pretty decent, I'm at a 3.786 over all and a 3.73 in my sciences. So fingers crossed. Thank you all for the encouragement. It means a lot to me. |

Thanks for letting me know! So you didn't use another resource like Cliff's to review? You went straight to destroyer? I think you should be okay, especially since your sGPA is a 3.7

Well I started off using the AP bio book to study, which was a nice resource if I needed more info. But I was working 30-40 hours a week while studying so I couldn't afford to waste time on things I already knew. I planned it out so that the semester before I took the DAT, I would be in zoology and Comparative anatomy. Comparative was hard as heck but I'm so glad I took it, between those two classes about the only thing I had to study was plants >< Which I didn't even get a question on. I think it really just depends on how you study best. I'm really ADD so it's hard for me to focus, which is why most of my studying involves just taking a crap-ton of practice tests. Looking back I probably should have just stuck to doing destroyer, I focused on it heavily for my QR and Bio sections and really neglected my chems thinking that it would be more basic and you can tell XD

So what type of orgo question did you see on your DAT? Were they more of conceptual based questions like acid-base strength?
Dont sweat about your scores, you did great! |

You did well. I thin, you should still try and apply. You have a good shot.
