Welcome townspeople of Pleasantville, USA. You just finished celebrating Independence Day when tragedy strikes your previously perfect town with several unexplained deaths. The town's crazy old men, SOV and LIS were found shot to death point blank. A town hall meeting is called to discuss these tragic murders, and the townspeople know that there are traitorous mafioso in their midst and they set out to figure out who the murderers are. First, they agree that they need a strong leader to help get to the bottom of the killings. Please elect yourselves a town Sheriff by 10 am cst.

Unique rules of this game:
No posting on the thread during night periods! You sleep at night, or you hang out and can communicate with people in your neighborhood, but no posting on the thread!

No, I don't; and it's nothing personal . Was going to nominate myself but devyn already had 3 votes... if you can't beat 'em, vote for 'em! And I thought that being able to talk to the leader might be useful with this no posting during night business.

The Pleasantville Post
July 7, 2012

Another Death in Pleasantville has civilians frightened and confused
After a successful, short town meeting yesterday, the civilians of Pleasantville elected themselves a Sheriff and agreed upon a night curfew to keep the streets of Pleasantville safe. Unfortunately, violence and treachery were still plentiful in our small town. On the west side of town, the people of Pleasantville woke up to find Ivorypolarbear's house broken into. Her neighbor Dyachei volunteered to go check on her, and she screamed loud enough for the east side to hear when she discovered the body. According to a preliminary report from the medical examiner, she appeared to be suffocated in her sleep, but autopsy reports will confirm the findings. Dyachei is very shaken up from the event, but was able to give The Post her reaction upon finding her neighbor's body: "Ivorypolarbear was the perfect Pleasantville neighbor, she would never hurt a fly! She looked so peaceful in her bed, still wearing her detective's uniform. Pleasantville has suffered a great loss today." More details will be released as we find out, please check our website for the most recent updates.

In other news, on the East Side another woman's scream was heard. A neighbor, wishing to remain anonymous, called the police to investigate what happened. She saw a person being taken by ambulance to the hospital. The victim's name has yet to be released, but she is said to be stable condition and will most likely be released from the hospital tomorrow.
