Default Major advice

I am having a hard time choosing a major and getting started in what I want to do. I go to city college and just transferred from a two year school a year ago. I am not finding a major that I am interested in. I cannot start my science classes until I finish my math classes. I am majoring in english now and I really do not like it. This is my junior year and I have not made any progress in my pre-dental coursework. I am thinking to transfer to NYU for undergrad so that I can have more options for majors and help with planning my next 2 years.

I think that its best to just do a major that you like, and it makes it easier on you if its science related so that your dental school requirements also fulfill your major requirements. I really like sports so I am an Exercise Science major where a lot of the prereqs also go towards my major, and I really like the major classes as well. Microbiology, Nutrition, Public Health, Neuroscience, Psychology, anything in the sciences will have some dental school prereqs built into the major so it will take less time to finish. Just find something you are interested in even if its business, which would help when trying to run a dental practice later on.
