Any medications really. However, just like MD/DOs in Illinois, you will need a controlled substance license for controlled drugs.

Your ability to practice medicine as a podiatrist, to best of my knowledge flows from at least the 4 following things and probably more.
(1) The podiatry scope of practice for your state. In a thread on this very page I've posted an excel containing the scope of practice for each state and a link to the state podiatry board of medicine / state laws concerning podiatry. (2) The practicing privileges granted by the hospital or facility you work for. (3) Your personal training/experience/familiarity. (4) Your insurance/malpractice. There are probably more I am unaware of. To my understanding you can prescribe the medications which fit the above - are to treat conditions within your scope, that you have the privilege to treat, that you are trained to treat, that you have the malpractice to treat.
