I just noticed white caps on some sample antibiotics a few days ago. Has this 'colour code' been abandoned? Does it vary between countries, ie. Canada/USA/Mexico. Just wondering what others in eyecare biz have been seeing on antibiotic tops - I've always seen tan. ![]() this pdf may make it more confusing or clarify what I'm saying: http://www.nyee.edu/pdf/lasa-ags-letter.pdf The chart on page 3 is a good summary, though that last category afaik, is legit by the AAO.

It would seem that sometimes generic brands do not adhere to the cap color codes. That's what I've noticed anyway. Were the ones you saw brand name?
