Hmm.. well, I am a lowly msi (not at all qualified to even post).
but we do go into the hospital to do day-long rotations with attendings every month or so. from the medicine residents i met, they seemed burned out. ..and these were not interns. as i said though, i do not know anything about this. <shrugs> |

Thomas Jefferson is an above average program, but nothing special, as I'm sure you've probably realized. It's a great place to be if you need to be in Philly, but otherwise there's plenty of other programs that would offer better training and fellowship placement. University of Maryland is a much better program in my opinion, as the chairman is unparalleled, people are happier, cush schedule, and generally everybody is very satisified there. fyi, i interviewed at both places last yr.
