We can talk about running. I'll talk to you about it for hours if you want. Anything running related.

Blah..I wish I could get into it. I'd love to run a half/full marathon one day. I just can't work up any enjoyment in it.

Love anything with lifting/weights though...

Never been a runner. But I like to walk. I might take the baby out for a stroll this afternoon since it's so warm here.

Ever had Graeter's? They're in the Ohio area...and may be in your neck of the woods too. I ask because their "chip" flavors are amazing...soft chocolate chunks. yum.

yeah, the enjoyment/learning curve for running is pretty vertical if you start out as a non-runner I think most non-runners should be able to work up to running a half comfortably and with a decent time in 2 years or so. Start with a couch to 5k program (run/walk program), do you first couple of shorter races, then get running consistently 5-6 days a week and jump into an intermediate half marathon training program. It's a slow journey but it's fun once you get into it (if you do).

Personally, today is the start of week 2 for my Boston Marathon Training, not looking forward to 20-22 mile long runs in the NE winter come February

Oh yes... we have that here. It's delicious. Their black raspberry chocolate chip is the best. But Kroger Private Selection has one that is almost as good. Now I want ice cream.

My plan to go on a walk with the baby has been foiled by a thunderstorm!

Graeters = gross. Ben & Jerry's chubby hubby = best ever.

Running sucks, especially on a treadmill, but a necessary evil for those if us that enjoy Ben & Jerry's by the pint.

Birthday cake ice cream. Or anything with marshmallow creme is good too.

Running sucks. I tried it, I kept at it, I did some road races and I still hated it at the end. I wish I liked it too - no equipment, can do it anywhere...but I hate it.

Bought an ice cream maker last month. Been experimenting with different things because my roomate is lactose intolerant. Best so far has been raspberry sorbet - best I have ever tasted. Just sugar and raspberries. They aren't very expensive, bought a cusinart off amazon.

And I Crossfit. Yes its expensive but think of it like group personal training. You are paying for a qualifed instructor to make sure you are doing the movements correctly. I like the built in competition against yourself - they time how long it takes you to do the workout so it makes you hustle.

I was at the vineyard the last time I was in Germany. I tasted 15 wines and didn't spit a single one. I have the good fortune to be near of the most amazing wine stores in the world. So I regularly get to drink some of the best wines on the planet.....

If you can find this:

You won't be disappointed. It's a red sparkling dessert wine that is to die for with fresh fruit or a light brunch. If you like heavy reds you should try to get a hold of this:

This one is kinda cool, you can practically play a game of football with it for 15 minutes and end up with ice cream.

I think I'm the only person in Ohio that doesn't like Graeter's but it just annoys me. I hate how huge their chocolate chunks and other ingredients are.

Jenni's is legitimately the best there is and the three flavors you listed are my favorites! There was an article I read not long ago about the best ice cream in the US. Jenni's was rated number one. It's nice living just a couple blocks from there, too. =D
