I would recommend NOT graduating a semester early. You can show an upward trend and help out that uGPA. Certainly a SMP program will help, along with some research, but until the sGPA gets above 3, it would be hard for MD or DO I would think.

Your ECs are definitely good, but I agree with the above, you need to get that sGPA above a 3 if you can. Look into SMPs with any sort of linkage to med school (ex: Tufts will guarantee interviews for the top 25%, or UToledo will guarantee an interview for all SMP acceptees)

If your MCAT score is very high, then you'll be in even better shape.

Don't graduate early, especially if your GPA isn't high.

That sGPA will keep you out of every medical school. If you're having trouble with science courses, how will you handle medical school? The cGPA is at the very low end of acceptable for the lowest of the low-tier MD schools, but OK for DO schools.

Suggest either re-taking all science coursesd where you got a C or lower, to take advatage of AACOMAS grade replacement, OR do an SMP (not an MPH), preferably at a medical school, which provides you with a backdoor "in" if you do well.

OH, and score >30 on the MCAT
