That's probably the fallout from the 8/15 test in which it seems like many people didn't do so well (harsh curve). The results of the test came out yesterday.

i am trying to get any test date anywhere near me... looking WA, OR, AZ, CA, NV, or British Columbia... nothing. it is so frustrating. i don't know why AAMC doesn't add more test dates. it would be smart of them. they would make a ton of money. even more then they are already stealing from poor pre-med students.

It would be nice if AAMC would offer both the 2014 and 2015 versions of the exam for a while. Shifting gears all at once seems to be causing problems for both 2015 test takers and 2014, but more so for the 2014 people.
