The title says it all. Had a lawyer friend of mine do a criminal background check on me, found 2 DUIs in a municipality 5+ years ago. This municipality gives out tons of DUIs and classifies them as ordinance violations. Like I said before, I minored in beer-bonging in college.
Since its not a misdemeanor I don't have to, but I it did come up on a criminal background check. I should also mention that at that point in my life I had really bad grades, but have had a dramatic upswing over the last several semesters.
Lawyer friend suggests I disclose because it will come up on background check eventually, I've read on SDN that prevailing wisdom is not to disclose.
Should I disclose to AMCAS or not? All replies appreciated.
