Just got the secondary, but I'm hoping to turn it around in a couple of days and hopefully it will magically turn into an interview invite I've heard that UCSF interviews half of the people they send secondaries to and I imagine it might be higher for OOS students, but I don't know.

Awesome! It's a pretty easy secondary. I was able to get in on the same day without pre-writing. (I was too superstitious to pre-write that one).

Haven't done a lot of preparing. Just getting through this last handful of secondaries this week....and its soo painful. I have a friend who is going to walk me through a mock interview. I'm eliminating qualifiers from my vocabulary. I plan to brush up on all the essays I wrote and my primary app. Need to be able to explain why medicine with ease... Along with answering the tell me about yourself question. Go through the list of questions here on SDN. I'm actually going to make a folder for each school. I have big plans.

make a cheat sheet and question list for
each school. I have been practicing those questions too and doing mock interviews. I recall in the main forum people google chatted to practice the interview. That might be an idea for this forum.
